Richard is the Company founder. Richard has been a geologist, hydrogeologist and environmental scientist for more than 25 years. In recent times Richard has focussed on monitoring technologies and how these can be applied to improving operational and compliance efficiencies. Richard has significant experience in environmental and regulatory compliance requirements having worked in the areas of EPA Auditing, landfill, mining, coal seam gas, catchment management, contaminated sites, effluent irrigation, agriculture, aquatic environments and many more. Procurement and Logistics Coordinator
Graeme has over 30 years of international & local experience in business administration, planning & forecasting, budgeting, IT, data analysis and project management. He has worked for large multinational industrial companies as well as local environmental consultancies. Graeme has held national operational roles in logistics management and been a project manager in large scale IT implementations.
Product Sales Manager
Kyle has 4-years’ experience in the water industry as an aquaculture and field data technician. Through this he gained invaluable experience in field data analysis, report documentation, water quality analysis and technical water monitoring equipment. Since starting with Hydroterra in 2018, Kyle has gained experience in groundwater, landfill gas, leachate sampling, reporting and data analysis and is currently completing further study in Environmental Management. As Sales Manager for Hydroterra, he has developed a strong knowledge and understanding of all monitoring equipment to meet clients needs.
Scientist & Senior Field Technician
Nadine is an Accountant who has had many years’ experience working in Industry. Since starting work with HydroTerra in March 2017, she has assisted Hydroterra to grow and evolve into the dynamic company it is today, with new systems and processes to make your experience administering your account with us smooth and easy.
Equipment Sales Coordinator
Pip has been with HydroTerra since 2018, after many years in Sales and Marketing. Pip started her career as a Horticultural Field Representative in New Zealand, before moving to Australia and continuing in sales in domestic horticulture in Victoria. After studying Marketing, she moved into a national account management role with an international consumer goods company, at which she worked for eleven years, before making a lifestyle change and moving to HydroTerra. Pip is passionate about the environment and protecting Australia’s native flora and fauna. As Product Sales Coordinator, she is constantly upskilling and expanding her knowledge to be able to meet client’s needs in the technical equipment that HydroTerra offers.
Michelle Canton is the General Manager, with a hydrogeology and management background. Michelle has more than 10 years’ experience in environmental team management. Michelle has graduated in geology in Brazil and has joined HydroTerra’s team in 2016. Michelle also has the expertise to managing projects with potential and contaminated land, including field data collection such as surface, groundwater, soil and gas sampling, management of data on specific software.
Operational and Services Manager
Matthew brings to the project 22 years of experience in the environmental services industry. Over his career he has worked across many facets of industry, including as a Consultant, Victorian Government employee and now as a Contractor. This unique experience enables Matthew to intimately understand the needs of the various stakeholders and how to deliver the best outcome for its clients.
Matthew was the Manager of the Environmental Services team at Ventia and responsible for overseeing all operational activities delivered by the Division. The Environmental Services Division comprised the delivery of remediation, environmental monitoring, Occupational Health and Hygiene and data management services. Matthew’s responsibilities included staff safety, business planning, financial management, staff training and development and client management.
John Guo is the Rental Manager of HydroTerra, and has extensive experience in electrical engineering.
Ryan is an Electronics technician who has had several years’ experience working with environmental monitoring equipment. Since starting work with HydroTerra in March 2012, Ryan has had hands on experience working on the installation of a number of environmental monitoring systems. As HydroTerra’s workshop technician Ryan is able to repair and troubleshoot any unexpected fault during sampling or installation.
Carla has worked as an accounts administrator, accounts receivables & payables for approximately 20 years, she has a varied role in Hydroterra assisting in accounts, procurement, sales and general office administration.
