Description

The Solinst 101M Mini Water Level Meter is a compact, lightweight water level measurement device designed specifically for narrow wells and remote field applications. Mounted on a scaled-down ergonomic reel, the entire system is easy to carry and fits conveniently into a backpack or small field case.

At the heart of the system is an ultra-slim 10 mm diameter P10 probe with flexible stainless-steel weights that help it pass obstructions and hang straight in narrow monitoring wells. The probe is attached to a narrow 5 mm polyethylene flat tape with permanent laser markings, providing accurate measurements to the millimetre.

The 101M operates using the same proven technology as the industry-standard Solinst Model 101. When the probe contacts water, an electrical circuit is completed, instantly activating both a bright LED light and an audible buzzer. Depth-to-water is then read directly from the high-contrast tape markings at the top of the well casing.

Designed for demanding field conditions, the 101M features adjustable sensitivity to minimise false readings in cascading water or varying conductivity environments, along with an ergonomic handle and integrated probe holder for easy transport and operation. An optional padded carrying case is also available for added protection during fieldwork.
