Description

OSTARA is an air quality monitoring station designed for harsh environments such as construction sites, ports, quarries, and mining operations. Unlike low-cost alternatives, these stations are engineered for durability, reliability, low maintenance and precise performance under challenging outdoor conditions.

As standard the Ostara measures these parameters:
• Fine particulate matter: PM1, PM2.5, PM10
• GPS
• Meteorological information: temperature, atmospheric pressure, relative humidity.

A range of gases are also supported including odour, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulphide, ammonia, nitrogen dioxide, oxygen, ozone, sulphur dioxide and volatile organic compounds. Additional gases are available upon request.

The station is also equipped for global air and water monitoring using auxiliary sensors:
• WiMo probe to measure physicochemical water parameters, such as temperature, pressure, conductivity, turbidity, pH, etc.
• Ultrasonic anemometer to measure wind speed and direction.

Ostara produces a range of weather indices including:
• Freezing point, Dew point, Windchill, Humidex, and Air Quality Index (European AQUI) and AQI ATMO (France).

Main Benefits:
• Flexible installation: posts, walls, fences (brackets supplied)
• Low power consumption: stand-alone solar (solar panel & battery) or mains backup.
• Robustness: corrosion-resistant material, quality connectors, IP66 enclosure=
• Wireless (WiFi) configuration and measurement display: intuitive, easy-to-use web interface
• E-mail and SMS monitoring and alerts
• Secure data transmission (cellular telemetry)
• Range of smart plug & play gas sensors with temperature and relative humidity compensation.
• Gas sensors fitted with anti-particulate protective membrane (on-site, toolless replacement possible)
• Solid polymer electrochemical sensors used for the gas sensor are cost-effective with compact size, low power consumption and broad temperature range allow for a seamless integration into a wide range of applications. The sensors can perform measurements in the ppb range as they are noise-free and have low drift.
• Integrated calculation of regulatory air quality indicators (ATMO, CAS/AQHI)
• Interface for WiMo Water Quality Sonde and Ultrasonic Wind Sensor
• Rich, user-friendly, Inoview operating platform
• GNSS positioning (site geolocation, theft protection).
