Description
The Sentek Deep Installation EnviroSCAN Probe is designed for monitoring soil moisture and soil salinity in applications at any depth up to 40 metres. A special reinforced access tube as well as modified sensor sets are utilized to provide durability and reliability at these depths.
The Sentek Deep installation EnviroSCAN Probe can be used with either moisture sensors or TriSCAN sensors which will also provide information on total dissolved ions in the profile. These sensors facilitate the monitoring of soil moisture that can be used to identify leaking dams, slope stability and shear stress. Being able to measure dissolved ions in a soil profile is beneficial in tracking contaminant movement.
Data from the Deep Installation EnviroSCAN Probe is uploaded via telemetry to allow data access from remote monitoring sites. A range of interfaces are available including SDI-12, RS232 and RS485 with telemetry via 4G or Satellite. The EnviroSCAN probe data integrates seamlessly with Sentek’s IrriMAX Live software providing a continuous record of data and management decisions, perfect for record keeping regulations.
