Description
The Sentek Nexus Blue is an efficient, low-cost Data Transmission Unit (DTU) which connects with multiple Drill & Drop Bluetooth® probes within 5 metres of the DTU to upload to Sentek’s IrriMAX Live cloud platform using the latest low-power cellular technology.
The Nexus Blue can be installed quickly with data available immediately.
Features:
• Built-in solar panel with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which provides power to run the system and charges the battery.
• Provides a 10m operating distance from a smartphone for initial setup using a Bluetooth connection and our Drill & Drop Connect App (iOS & Android).
• Housing is watertight to IP68 and is sealed from moisture intrusion.
• Unit is designed to provide an easy method to open providing users access to use their own SIM Card, or for other maintenance purposes such as replacing the battery.
• The DTU supports an external 7dB antenna on the supplied bracket or 4m extension if required.
• Requires Micro SIM Cards.
• Supports remote firmware update.
• Supports downloading/uploading from unlimited number of Drill & Drop Bluetooth® probes within 5m of the DTU.
• Supports multiple DTU’s for redundancy (DTUs will share the downloading).
• Can be configured to download from any probe within range (default) or probes with a specific group ID.
• A push button switch is present that can be used to take the DTU out of shipping mode and put back in shipping mode.
