In March 2013, Zoos Victoria became the first zoo in the world to be certified Carbon Neutral. Zoos Victoria has further reduced its carbon emissions by 71% since gaining carbon neutrality – wow!
Kiam Yoong has been the Senior Manager of Environmental Sustainability at Zoos Victoria for the past 15 years and played a key role in the Carbon Neutrality program. In this webinar Kiam explained the importance of carbon management, and how Zoos Victoria go about measuring and reducing their carbon emissions.
