Nyngan Mine, a great site for a custom Groundwater Sampling Workshop

In November 2024, HydroTerra hosted a customised workshop on groundwater and surface water sampling course at a mine site in Nyngan, New South Wales. While our standard workshops typically focus solely on groundwater sampling, this tailored session was specifically designed to meet the needs of the organisation and incorporate a component of surface water sampling techniques.   

The workshop provided participants with hands-on experience in the proper techniques for purging, sampling and preserving water samples from both groundwater wells and surface water. Attendees gained practical skills in using various sampling tools, including different pumps, water level meters, and water quality probes, while learning how to maintain sample integrity in diverse environmental conditions.
