Description

The Model 4580 Pressure Transducer series are designed for very low fluid pressure measurements, such as groundwater elevations in wells, water levels in streams, weirs, flumes, etc. Changes in water levels of as little as 0.2 mm can be measured. As an option to the regular maintenance scheme of replacing desiccant capsules on vented piezometers, a site may use the 4580-1 Vibrating Wire Barometer to barometrically compensate unvented low-pressure piezometers. The Model 4580-1 Vibrating Wire Barometer providing a convenient means of correcting for atmospheric pressure changes.
