Finding value in undervalued data: Using field parameters
Presenters:
In the rush for deliverables, environmental practitioners often neglect one of the most useful pieces of data they collect – field parameters. These neglected data points can indicate contamination, changes in hydrogeology, and more.
This webinar will discuss the “easy wins” that can be gained from standing water level, pH, electrical conductivity, redox, temperature and dissolved oxygen measurements, as well as, why you should be collecting major ions at every site. Additionally, Allison will call on previous works, including where groundwater discharge locations were identified solely using these values to inform a targeted sampling program at a uranium-impacted site.
