SENIOR SOLUTIONS ENGINEER- ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to join our team in a fulltime capacity based in Cheltenham.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Solutions Engineer at HydroTerra you will need to have a strong knowledge in environmental monitoring technology solutions. Your key role will be to work with clients to promote and sell, develop proposals based on HydroTerra’s monitoring capabilities and technology portfolio and create and implement monitoring technology solutions that meet the client’s needs.
Critical attributes include:
- Strong Experience in Technical Sales: Proven track record in winning tenders and success at selling monitoring technologies
- Strong Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge in environmental monitoring and associated technologies and their integration
- Understand Customer Needs particularly in the sectors of waste, mining, water management, natural resource management and applied research. You will need to have the ability to work with clients to understand their business and monitoring technology needs
- Design Solutions: Using HydroTerra’s products and services to design optimal monitoring solutions
- Collaborate with HydroTerra’s Teams: Working with the sales and monitoring services teams to develop integrated solutions
- Present Solutions: Presenting solutions to clients and stakeholders
- Project Management: Experience managing the delivery of monitoring technology, sales, integration, installation and oversight
- Technical Leading and Mentoring: You will have a passion for sharing knowledge, and mentoring fellow team members
Required experience and qualifications:
- Engineering or science degree qualification essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in solutions engineering and sales
- Project Management experience in environmental monitoring
- Strong knowledge in environmental monitoring technologies and their application
- Experience in assembly and fabrication of monitoring systems will be advantageous
