Bespoke training course for AusIMM – Water management in mining

HydroTerra was pleased to support the delivery of AusIMM’s Water Management in Mining training course. We provided content that was centred around sharing practical, real-world experiences in water monitoring and management.

Our involvement included an interview-style session exploring key considerations and experiences in mine water management, as well as a live virtual classroom focused on designing effective monitoring programs.

The session covered

• Monitoring design
• Instrumentation
• Telemetry
• Data management

These elements all contribute to supporting better operational and environmental decision-making.

The response to the training was fantastic. Participants particularly valued the practical knowledge and industry experience shared throughout the sessions. It was also great to see strong engagement and discussion around the real-world challenges of managing and monitoring water in mining environments.

Following the success of the recent course, HydroTerra will be involved again next year, continuing to share our expertise with mining and water management professionals.
