Continuous visualisation of your data with HydroTerra’s DataStream™

DataStream™, by HydroTerra sets a new standard for visualising and managing site data.  Trusted data is delivered to you in the formats you need to support site assessment and compliance

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Collection

Sensors are installed on site to measure and collect site-specific parameters at consistent time intervals. Systems are fully configured, tested and integrated before delivery, ensuring a streamlined deployment process even in remote locations.

Step 2: Transmission

Data from the sensors is transmitted to our DataStream™ platform via telemetry using an Application Programming Interface (API).

Step 3: Processing

Once received, raw data is processed using scripts and procedures to become suitable for visualisation. Depending on the data type, parameters of interest and site specifications, the following may occur:

– Data Cleaning and Validation: Spikes, gaps or faulty readings are identified and removed. Corrections or adjustments may also be applied.
– New Parameter Calculation: Raw values are used in structured equations to calculate new parameters. For example, raw pressure data is converted to depth.
– Data Aggregation: Data is aggregated to track longer term changes, such as daily, monthly, or yearly averages, maximums and sums.
– Alert Creation: Alerts and notifications are created for data value thresholds, sensor errors, and compliance monitoring.

Step 4: Visualisation

Processed data is transmitted into a secure, customisable web platform – DataStream™ and displayed on tailored dashboards. This data is presented using custom widgets that may include GIS mapping tools, graphs, metrics and indicators.

Dashboards enable ongoing visibility across all connected monitoring systems, providing real-time feedback, alarm notifications and system tracking to ensure continuous awareness of site conditions.  Issues can be resolved quickly and in real-time.

Further to dashboard visualisation, data can be transformed into ready reporting templates.  Whether for compliance, OH&S or operational review reports can be tailored to summarise key metrics to ensure decision-makers receive targeted insights on operational or compliance performance.
