Description

The TriOS TTurb is a digital sensor for optical turbidity measurement using 90-degree IR scattered light method.

Depending on the model, TTurb can measure:
• Clean water up to 100 FNU
• Raw water, wastewater, and process water up to 1000 FNU

The sensor is available with different cable lengths (0.5 m, 2 m, or 10 m) and in multiple configurations to suit different installations.

TTurb can be immersed directly in the water or supplied in a flow-cell version for bypass or pipeline applications. For easy on-site checks, TTurb can also be supplied as a set with the TTurbCAL dry calibration standard, which is individually matched to each sensor. This allows quick and accurate performance verification without the need for chemicals or reagents.

Benefits:
• Reliable concentration measurements by optical methods
• Pulsed infrared scattered light procedure
• No mechanically moving parts
• Digital reading

Applications:
• Measurement of turbidity in drinking water, domestic water and circulating water
• Measurement of turbidity in drinking water treatment plants with low turbidity values
• Measurements of turbidity in open water.

Customer calibration can be carried out with a formazine turbidity standard or with the TTurbCAL sol id standard (TTurb-1000 only).
