Since their official release of Sentek IOT DTU in August 2023, Sentek have received plenty of positive feedback from their distributors and end-users. Main points of difference regarding IOT loggers are related to ease of setting-up process and user-friendliness of the app. The fact that users can confidently set up Sentek IOT with their mobiles via BT and the Sentek App (instead of having a laptop and programming cable, and mobile to hot spot) is very appealing.

Having a solar panel and a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery in the Sentek IOT unit is also another positive feature that was well-received and admired. This feature was also part of Sentek’s CSR and commitment to increase sustainability and environmental friendliness of their products.

Sentek Modem (SM-200) used in IOT units, are also proved to be very reliable and compatible with most networks globally.

Features and capabilities at a glance:

  • Wireless BT connectivity via app for programming and deployment.
  • Rechargeable battery and Solar Panel.
  • Compatible with 2G/3G/4G/CATM networks.
  • Minimized international transportation and logistics issues, due to “Shipping Mode” capability and “Safe to fly.”
  • Low energy consumption (prolonged battery life up to 5-6 years).
