Triad partnership brings three-way win

The benefits of working in partnership with aligned organisations couldn’t be more evident than what HydroTerra, the Yarra Riverkeepers Association (YRKA) and RMIT University are currently experiencing with a small group of final year environmental engineering students.

As their Capstone Project – which is designed to offer realistic and challenging industry experience – the students are working with HydroTerra and the YRKA to identify the monitoring and information needs of and contributions available from stakeholders of the Yarra River catchment. The goal is to increase and improve available insights and data, to integrate this information to be a comprehensive and valuable resource, helping educate and build long-term resilience for the catchment. As a direct outcome of this triad partnership, HydroTerra is now employing two of the students as part of our internship program.
