Turning Data into Action: DataStream™ Alarms

At HydroTerra, alarms are a practical tool for turning monitoring data into action.

Collecting continuous data is valuable, but a key advantage lies in quickly knowing when conditions shift beyond what is expected or acceptable.
Alarms allow us to define the conditions that matter; thresholds, data gaps or system faults, and receive automated notifications when these conditions change. Instead of manually checking dashboards, issues and exceedances can be responded to in real time. Beyond compliance, these alarms also support proactive management and improved efficiency.

Alarms can be configured on our DataStream™ platform across a wide range of parameters, depending on the monitoring objective. Examples include:

• Threshold exceedances (eg. water level above trigger value, tank volume nearing capacity)
• System health alerts (eg. low battery voltage, communication error, flatline)
• Combined logic (eg. simultaneous high turbidity and low oxygen)

Alarms can be delivered via email, SMS, or voice call to nominated recipients, and can be accessed via DataStream™ dashboards.
