The Ion Science GasClam 2 is the first in-situ borehole gas meter suitable for detecting a wide range of gasses commonly found in environmental boreholes. It is easy to use and fits into a standard 50mm well.

The Ion Science GasClam 2 continuously measures and collects ground gas concentration data (methane, carbon dioxide, oxygen, hydrogen sulphide and VOC) as well as parameters that are known to control it (subsurface pressure, atmospheric pressure, water level and temperature).

Intended for dedicated applications, measurements are logged at user-defined intervals and can be viewed within the GasClam software to download and analyse data. The GasClam 2 offers battery powered deployment for over 3 months (dependant on logging frequency), external power option for extended deployments and is intrinsically safe for use in explosive atmospheres.
