Innovations in PFAS mass flow monitoring and management
Presenters:
PFAS management is a global issue that spans a variety of jurisdictions, sectors, matrices and PFAS species. To measure and manage such a broad range of PFAS related issues, significant innovation is needed to adequately arm industry and regulators with the appropriate tools.
In this talk, Matthew will discuss how regulatory uncertainty and research gaps hinder innovation, leaving industries without the necessary tools to manage PFAS effectively. Using two case recent case studies, he will address how the right environment could enhance innovation, leading to better environmental outcomes associated with PFAS management – while also showcasing some recent advancements in managing PFAS mass flow in water, soil and recycled organics.
