Managing landfill airspace optimisation | Neil Thomson & Richard Campbell

Australians produce between 70-80 million tonnes of waste per year! Landfills are a critical aspect of managing this waste, therefore it is imperative that these landfills are managed and operated efficiently and safely.

It was fantastic to hear from the highly experienced Neil Thomson from Senversa.  In his role as Project Director at Senversa, Neil has utilised drone surveys and proprietary software to deliver fill plans and 3D models for his clients’ operations teams. These assist in managing airspace consumption, minimising overfilling. Neil is a highly experienced leader and has delivered ground engineering components of waste management, infrastructure, land development and energy projects. During this time Neil performed the monthly airspace consumption assessment and fully understands what is required in constructing landfill infrastructure.
