Willowstick Technologies offers innovative solutions for a range of groundwater and subsurface challenges. At the core, Willowstick’s approach uses multiple cutting-edge techniques: Micro Seismic Resonance (MSR), Radiometric Gamma, and 3D Modelling. Together, these technologies enable precise mapping of the subsurface, depicting essential site features such as anomalies, fractures and possible leaks.

One of Willowstick’s standout successes is the Kanosh, Utah groundwater well siting project. In this case, Willowstick’s MSR and Radiometric Gamma technologies were employed to identify high-yield well locations in challenging fractured rock formations. The survey combined MSR’s deep fracture detection (up to 3000 ft) with Gamma’s ability to map permeable zones, pinpointing the most promising drilling sites.

The results were remarkable: the recommended well, drilled to a target depth based on Willowstick’s analysis, achieved an impressive 1,000 gallons per minute (GPM) with minimal drawdown. This success demonstrated the precision and effectiveness of Willowstick’s approach, especially in complex geological settings. The project not only secured a vital water source for the area but also saved the project significant costs through reducing the risk of drilling failure or a poor well site.
