As 2024 comes to a close, HydroTerra is proud to reflect on an incredibly successful year of training and development in the environmental sector, particularly in groundwater management. Our continued commitment to excellence has solidified our reputation as a leading provider of specialised training for professionals in environmental monitoring.

One of the year’s highlights was Richard Campbell and Ture Carlson’s trip to Darwin for the Inaugural Australian Hydrographers Association Technical Workshop where they ran the Introduction to Groundwater Monitoring presentation, followed by a field demonstration.

HydroTerra also hosted custom groundwater sampling workshops, catering to the specific needs of various industries. These tailored workshops have been a great opportunity for organisations to train new field staff, upskill and streamline sampling practices. Our standard workshops at HydroTerra have also been a major success, attracting a wide range of participants eager to deepen their knowledge.

But don’t just take our word for it – here’s what a past student had to say:

“I really appreciated the hands-on approach and the chance to use different equipment during the workshop. The combination of practical fieldwork and training was perfect. The HydroTerra team was friendly, knowledgeable, and always open to questions. They made complex concepts easy to understand!”

Looking ahead, 2025 promises even more exciting developments, with new training opportunities and possible new collaborations on the horizon. We look forward to continuing to empower environmental professionals and strengthen our role as a key player in the field.

Stay tuned for more announcements in the new year!
