There’s a lot to running a market place! Our aim is to be the best at providing support of all aspects of our offered products. Over the last 6 months HydroTerra has been pushing hard: renovating our website and onboarding a large range of new and existing suppliers models. At last look we had the following quantities of models in our technology arsenal to measure various parameters: Bare Sensors (95), Data Logging Sensors (106), Data Management Platforms (14), Integrated Systems (34), Hand held Measurement devices(66) and Sampling devices (53). Our measurement categories continue to expand with a focus on Air, Groundwater, Marine & Deep Sea, Soil, Surface Water, Vegetation and Weather. Our sales are strong across all measurement technology types indicating that the world still needs the traditional approaches to monitoring, whilst rapidly embracing the world of integrated systems and IOT sensor networks. I have to confess on our busy days I sometimes wonder: can we ease up a little? How many products, how many new and emerging technologies, how many SOPs to support them all, do we need? Our last webinar on AI and environmental data “AI, Not Excel: Using CHATGPT for Environmental Data Analysis” by Matthew Obrien highlighted that this journey of technology evolution in environmental monitoring is far from over and we need to evolve with it. It provided some compelling clarity of the power of this latest innovation.
