Presenting Innovations in real-time continuous monitoring at acid mine drainage sites
27 October 2025
HydroTerra’s Technical Director Annette Nolan attended the 2025 Australian AMD Workshop in Brisbane last week. Annette said it was a pleasure to immerse herself into the technical challenges and geochemistry of AMD at the workshop hosted by The University of Queensland Sustainable Minerals Institute and it was fantastic to make new connections and learn from experts in this industry.
Annette presented on the topic ‘Innovations in real-time continuous monitoring at AMD sites’ to support more accurate environmental assessments and informed decision-making. Solving the challenges of AMD and implementing leading practices requires multidisciplinary collaboration, and HydroTerra was pleased to contribute and share their knowledge on a range of innovative technologies to improve understanding of the conceptual site model.
Annette will be back up to Brisbane this week for the Australasian Land & Groundwater Association (ALGA) Ecoforum conference – Day 1 only and hopes to catch up with as many of her network as possible on Tuesday!
