Description

WXT530 Series utilises solid-state sensor technology. To measure wind, Vaisala WINDCAP ultrasonic wind sensors are applied to determine horizontal wind speed and direction. Barometric pressure, temperature, and humidity measurements are combined in the PTU module. The PTU module is easy to change without any contact with the sensors. The precipitation measurement is based on the unique acoustic Vaisala RAINCAP Sensor without flooding, clogging, wetting, and evaporation losses.

Low power consumption and flexible communication options, make the WXT530 series a great option for many applications. The sensor supports RS232, SDI-12 and RS485 ModBus protocols meaning the unit can be integrated with a host of HydroTerra telemetry solutions. The WXT530 offers maintenance-free operations in a cost-effective manner and is ideal in solar powered applications.

In addition to the standard parameters, the WXT530 series also provides connectivity to Solar Radiation sensors, PT-1000 Temperature Sensors and Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge. A very flexible weather station to meet all your monitoring needs.
