Description
Durham Geo’s (DGSI) Vented VW Pressure Transducer is designed specifically for monitoring changes in water levels in wells, standpipes, and stilling basins in reservoirs and streams.
The Vented VW Pressure Transducer converts water pressure to a frequency signal via a patented* arrangement of diaphragm, a tensioned steel wire, and an electromagnetic coil. The vented design of this pressure transducer eliminates the barometric component used in traditional pressure transducers, which results in more reliable readings.
The oversize desiccant chamber has a large capacity and low maintenance, keeping the vent tube dry for 3 to 6 months.
The Vented VW Pressure Transducer has an extra-large diameter vent tube providing rapid response to changes in atmospheric pressure and is not blocked by condensation.
