Caring for water and country

Being National Water Week, we are thinking more deeply about our relationship with water. With flooding around the country currently, and water being responsible for large-scale destruction, it may be difficult to think favourably about H2O during this week, of all weeks! However, it’s good to remember water covers three-quarters of our planet and makes up two-thirds of our bodies. We thirst for it and bathe in it. It’s used by communities, industry and agriculture for health and liveability, the environment, Aboriginal cultural access, manufacturing and production of food and other produce. Water is an essential resource needed for economic prosperity wherever you live. Much of what we do at HydroTerra relates to efficiently measuring and managing water so that this finite resource can be protected. What’s your water story? #NationalWaterWeek.
