Project purpose: Provide an integrated monitoring system for storm water ponds and leachate sumps.

Hydroterra Solution:

  • Storm water pond monitoring:  Pressure transducers were deployed inside installed protective PVC casing. The weighted transducers were set at the base of the ponds.
  • Leachate sump monitoring: The sensors were placed within a 50mm casing mounted on the side of the leachate sumps by strapping the sensors to the discharge riser from the pump. The sensor technology includes a polypropylene (PP) submersible pressure transducer LMK809. This submersible pressure transducer has a flush mounted ceramic sensor, which makes cleaning easier.
