We would like to say a big thank you to John for what was a deeply engaging presentation. This webinar generated almost 400 registrations, one of the highest in recent times. Another big thank you to everyone who registered and attended, our webinars have been receiving crushing support as of late. If you were not able to make it on the day, we post all of our webinars to our YouTube channel and to our webinars page on the HydroTerra website, link for which is at the end of this article.

What were the main take-aways from John’s presentation?

  • How can you ensure your remediation is sustainable? Develop and implement an assessment and remediation solution that achieves regulatory requirements, manages risk, and balances environmental, economic and social effects.
  • ESD core objectives? Enhance individual & community welfare by following a sustainable path of economic development. Protect biological diversity and maintain essential ecological processes and life-support systems.
  • Understanding the problem at hand, developing sustainable remediation metrics, identifying ESD proportionate action.
