HydroTerra are pleased to announce our newest technology for water monitoring, HydroTerra Data Buoys. We now supply a range of rugged, single-person deployable platforms that support a wide range of below and above water environmental sensors, offering a flexible solution for all your monitoring needs.

We offer 3 models that are designed for deployment in lakes, rivers, estuaries, harbors, and sheltered coastal areas or deployment in waterways that have strong current flows such as rivers and streams. All options come with an integrated data well and optional solar panels for a wide range of telemetry systems. Offering a range of monitoring options including level sensors, water quality sensors, weather sensors, data logging/telemetry, visual monitoring, and velocity, current, and wave sensors.

The DB400 Data Buoy is our ideal solution to rapid deployment or short-term deployment in sheltered waterways. It comes with a 104mm pass thru and deployment tube and is constructed using rugged fibre-reinforced plastic inner and outer shell with a marine-grade polyurethane foam core and optional 4 x 2.5-watt, 12-volt solar panels.

The DB450 Data Buoy offers a slightly larger option to the DB400, allowing for longer deployment times and ability to be deployed in more open waterways, such as lakes, rivers, estuaries and harbours. It also comes with a 104mm pass thru and deployment tube and is constructed using rugged fibre-reinforced plastic inner and outer shell with a marine-grade polyurethane foam core and optional 4 x 2.5-watt, 12-volt solar panels.

The DB1000 Data Buoy specialises in waterways that have strong current flows such as rivers, streams, and estuaries. It is designed robustly to be able to withstand the toughest of conditions, offering years of dependable use. With ample buoyance through rugged fibre-reinforced plastic twin hulls with a marine-grade polyurethane foam core and a large interior, the DB1000 can carry a plethora of sensors, paired with 2 x 10-watt, 12-volt solar panels, lending itself to long-term monitoring.
