Introduction
11 July 2024This time of year is all about strategy. HydroTerra has an advisory board and a senior management team and each year we review what is called our “Strategy on a Page”. It takes a surprising amount of time to consolidate the plan for a year into one page of implementable projects. It’s also a time of reflection, looking at how we went against our ambitious plan we set for 2023-24. Our goal: to be the Leading independent supplier of environmental monitoring technologies, integrated systems and services to enable our industry and communities to measure and improve their operational and environmental performance”. Corner stone to this mission has been the development of our market place of in excess of 100 suppliers from all across the globe. This huge range of products has required significant expansion of the monitoring services and market place team which now numbers 34 employees. Another key objective has been our focus on modular integrated systems and automation of the oversight of these. There is a significant amount of work required to develop new Modular Integrated Systems. This has included the development of new processes and procedures for manufacturing, marketing, accounting and the expansion of the team, to include unique electronic and mechatronic skills sets. To achieve this has required substantial support and agility around change from the organisation, the team has shown amazing resilience. A market place is of course nothing without the interaction and support from our customers and community. We are incredibly grateful to our customers. Finally, a big thankyou to all our specialist presenters who have participated in our webinars and tech talks, volunteering their time to share knowledge to an ever growing number of grateful registrants. The webinars have provided a unique focal point to our marketplace. So a big well done and thankyou to the HydroTerra team and our customers for helping us nail our 23-24 strategy!
